Citrus with Chile Lime Seasoning
It’s the dead of winter and most of the country is getting pummeled by snow and all sorts of inclement weather. If you can’t jet off to Florida or California to leave behind the winter woes, this tasty snack will provide you with a little boost of sun. Quarter your fruit soccer-mom style or cut supremes (segments). Either way, enjoy the bounty of citrus season with this easy to make snack.
Ingredients & Method (serves 3-4 as a meal, 5-6 as a snack)
- 2 pink grapefruits, supremed
- 3 blood oranges, supremed
- 1 naval orange, supremed
- 2 teaspoons chile lime seasoning (see recipe)
Arrange citrus on a platter and sprinkle with chile lime seasoning.
For a light meal, try with sliced avocado and shaved Idiazabal cheese (hard Spanish cheese).
