To wrap up our Cocktail series, we leave you with the elegant Pisco Sour. Do not fear the egg white – it is the highlight of the drink. And please, keep this classy and sip from Champagne glasses.
#5. The Pisco Sour
Pisco is a style of brandy common to Peru and Chile, that has a touch of tequila in it. The egg white gives this tangy drink a smooth, full body.
- 2 oz pisco brandy
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1/4 oz agave nectar
- 1/2 egg white
- 1 dash Angostura® bitters
Put all ingredients into a shake ingredients vigorously with ice. Strain into a champagne flute, and add the bitters as an aromatic garnish.
